Event Details

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Coalbed Methane Outreach Program (CMOP) is pleased to invite you to our next webinar.
Coal mines that are temporarily or permanently closed can still produce significant methane emissions. Learn more about this source of Coal Mine Methane and opportunities for AMM projects in the U.S. In the last 5 years, 10 AMM projects have been developed in the U.S., resulting in reduced methane emissions and economic benefits from an otherwise lost energy resource. The webinar will: provide an overview of AMM as an emissions and energy source, discuss opportunities for AMM projects in the U.S., and highlight available resources to address barriers to AMM project development.
